Sooner or Later. Expected or unexpected. By chance or mean to be.
We hit the wall.
The strong. The weak. The poor. The rich. White, mulato or dark skin. Born here or China. Beyond languagues or background.
We all do.
We hit the wall.
The wall of fear, that freezes our feet to fight for our dreams.
The wall of selfishness that blinds us from the true meaning of this short walk.
The wall of regrets that keeps us from believing in love, forginess and grace.
The wall of weariness, that lands us in the wilderness, those dry days when its just enough.
The wall of distance, its just too wide the space and narrow the hope.
We all do.
It hurts
Sometimes even overwhelming.
But.
If others –no matter skin color, nationality, background or money- have overcome it.
I can. You can.
And sometimes the wall, just makes you appreciate a lot more what’s on the other side. Life. Black, white and tons of gray. That kids smile, spring, the sound of the waves that never give up but fill the afternoons with romantic tunes…..
Lets start the year by weaking those walls, give more, expect less, strive in appreciating and being grateful, in learning from frustration and struggles, in believing more in urself and others.... what else? you add it to the list.
